Analyst / Investigator at the Tenants' Association

Every day, the Tenants' Association, its elected representatives, employees, and members contribute to improving housing for people. We have been doing this for many years, and we want to continue advocating for tenants' interests, rights, and opportunities to influence their housing in the future.

We are now looking for an analyst/investigator focused on the Tenants' Association's housing policy advocacy work in the western region of Sweden. In your role, you will gather relevant facts, analyze the finances of property companies, and ensure that our work is based on the needs and wishes of tenants and members. You will monitor the housing development in the external environment and know where to find relevant facts. As an investigator, you find it interesting to conduct qualified analyses and work with statistical tasks. The role includes presenting results and summaries both in writing and in oral presentations, where you will be responsible for the implementation. It is a plus if you have some media experience. We believe you thrive in an environment that requires flexibility and a holistic view. You will work closely with members, elected representatives, and colleagues to create engagement and influence societal development.

Responsibilities

  • You contribute to developing and broadening the western region's work in housing policy
  • You are responsible for monitoring the external environment

  • You are responsible for establishing construction and housing market statistics for each municipality within the region's operational area, as well as other significant statistics
  • You analyze the annual reports of housing companies
  • Assist with statistics and evidence in municipal legal matters
  • Participate in the development of various types of investigative methods and tools

Qualifications

  • You have a university degree in political science, economics, urban planning, statistics, or equivalent, as well as relevant work experience
  • You have knowledge of the housing market and political decision-making processes
  • You have documented knowledge of monitoring the external environment and strategic analysis work
  • You have very good skills in information processing to independently present information and trend analyses
  • You handle social media and see it as a natural part of your work
  • You are proactive, independent, and have an easy time collaborating
  • You have an interest in accounting and business economic key figures
  • Experience in non-profit organizations is an advantage, and we expect you to share the values of the Tenants' Association
